ART BOOKLET

“Songs Of Blue” (2000 – 2005)
In 2024 I made this photography and poetry booklet containing some scans from experimental pictures and excerpts from song lyrics and poems I wrote in the same period. 24 pages in total and printed in a very, very limited edition. Contact me via email if interested: sam@samgeuens.be
I am now working on a new booklet called ‘Halfway Heaven, Halfway Home’ referring to my 50th birthday coming up soon.
ART BOOKLET
“I close my eyes to get a better view“
In 2025 I finished my most recent poetry and photography booklet ‘I close my eyes to get a better view’. The pictures were selected from trips to nature or the coast in Belgium and France. A mixture of old and newer new poems found their place in the whole story.

I only ordered 1 copy of the photobook so this booklet is not for sale. Some images were put on my Instagram account though and some of the texts and photos can also be found also in the section ‘Writings’ on this website.
SHOP STAND
M.A.G.A.S.I.O.
In the autumn of 2025 I have finally started building the M.A.G.A.S.I.O. (Mobile Art Gallery And Shop In One). This is a wooden stand on wheels to present and sell my collages and prints on creative/artisanal/artist markets in the near future.

It will be made in a modular way, so I can transport it easily and build it by connecting the parts together. Like IKEA stuff a bit, but then better and stronger. The first module is finished and I hope to soon start working on the second of three modules that can be put on top of each other.
POSTCARDS
My Etsy webshop
I have started making postcards from some of my recent analog collages. For now there are 3 postcards available on my Etsy page: etsy.com/shop/samgeuens.

The cards are ‘Happy Brew Year’, ‘Desert Rose’ and ‘Moonchild’. They are printed on a warm toned PaperWise paper and come with a brown kraft envelop. Until the end of January there is a 25% reduction also.

Opening up my photo archives
Since 1999 taking analog or digital pictures has become a kind of second nature. In about 25 years my archive has grown to ten thousands of photos, from the early years with monochrome film and polaroid experiments over my digital concert pictures until more recent photos from travelling or city trips with street art, nature or architecture. Check out my Flickr account for more photos. I restarted also my separate Instagram account Nightbirds & Daydreamers on spontaneous street (art) photography. And oh yes, I also have an old Tumblr blog with a selection of old and new lucky shots!

Road Trip in Mallorca: Sollèr, Valldemossa, Alcudia, Cala Figuera
Mid September 2023 we flew to Palma de Mallorca and rented a car for a 1 week trip to this famous Spanish and biggest Balearic island. Temperatures would stay still way above 30°C and this had an impact on how much places on the island we would get to see. Because Mallorca is famous for

Road trip Koblenz & Rhine banks
After having seen the beautiful green banks of the Mösel river in 2018, we decided to drive back to this German wine region for a 2-day road trip. Koblenz is the oldest city of Germany and was, besides the capital of Prussia, also in Roman times already an important and strategic location. Walking into the

Road trips Côte d’Azur: Antibes, Grasse, Monaco
On our first visit to the Côte d’Azur in the summer of 2020 we chose to stay in the charming coastal city of Antibes. We stayed at a top floor apartment with a gorgeous view on the town, the sea and the mountains (Alpes-Maritimes). Even the flickering nocturnal lights of the Promenade des Anglais in
